Ingredients

tablespoons
lower sodium soy sauce
2
teaspoons
freshly grated ginger
1
tablespoon
lime juice
2
teaspoon
wasabi paste,
divided
3
tablespoons
honey
4
salmon fillets,
about 6 ounces each
2
tablespoons
light mayonnaise
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a small bowl, make the marinade by whisking together the soy sauce, ginger, lime juice, 1 teaspoon of the wasabi paste and the honey.
Place the salmon and the marinade in a plastic bag with a zipper seal. Marinate in the refrigerator for 15 - 30 minutes, but not longer.
Place the marinated salmon fillets on a broiler pan. Discard the plastic bag with the remaining marinade.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the salmon flakes with a fork (generally about 10 minutes per inch of thickness.
While the salmon is baking, mix together the light mayonnaise and the remaining 1 teaspoon of wasabi paste. Serve with the salmon.
Notes
Feel free to use jarred ginger instead of freshly grated ginger.
